My name is William Skea. I’ve travelled around the world for the past 10 years as an aspirant rock, ski, ice, and mountain guide. I’m passionate about mentoring others, providing life-changing experiences through the outdoors, and motivating others to become more confident in themselves. At the beginning of 2020, I started an animal rescue charity in Sydney called ‘William Skea’s Animal Rescues’, where I rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome cats found to be victims of animal cruelty. Through these guided trips, I can raise money for these animals where 100% of my income is donated to them.
I can take up to 2 people top-roping, sport climbing, trad climbing, aid climbing, multi-pitch climbing, ski touring, snowshoeing, ice climbing, or snow caving; and up to 6 people top-roping or teaching technical skills such as anchor systems, trad climbing, aid climbing, or rope rescue (essential for multi-pitch climbing). The best ways to start these trips are to meet in person at a local gym together and discuss your goals and future climbing objectives.
I ask for the following per trip:
I always carry my camera with me on these trips so you can expect some great photos and videos of us climbing together. I just ask for prints to be purchased through me so I can ensure they are exposed and colour corrected correctly.
